Enjoy a Tour of our Beautiful Library!
Local author, Iris Jones (center), presented the Coldspring Public Library with several books included in her Racial Literacy Project. She wrote Growing Up Iris to relate her experiences growing up as a bi-racial girl unable to find library books that she could relate to. She developed the Racial Literacy Project to present local libraries with books that reflect characters and storylines from different cultural and racial perspectives.
